Accessing and querying these plans is a powerful capability that static documents cannot support. Councils often spend extensive time and resources responding to queries about unique acquisitions, developments, and contextual contributions. In the 2023–24 financial year, only 35% of contributions were claimed. This highlights a critical gap in funding and the urgent need for infrastructure to support Victoria’s continued growth—and more broadly, growth across Australia.
